Agriculture Provides Wealth and Food Security – Madam Dorothy Effah

The Policy Officer at AGRA, Madam Dorothy Effah, reiterated her commitment to work with Agrihouse Foundation, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ministry of Chieftaincy, and all value chain actors to ensure that sure that issues highlighted during the panel discussions and policy dialogues are addressed with the right recommendations and solutions.

“It is important to have good conversations on our agricultural sector and that is a wisest decision because agriculture contributes to wealth, as well as food security and what even makes me happier is the focus on the role that Queen Mothers play in boosting agricultural growth,” she stressed.

She added, “We’ve realized that, in the past few years, most women continue to contribute to Agricultural growth. However, Queen Mothers are paramount when it comes to important to engaging them in regard as they play vital role in our various communities. And I very much hope that our Queen Mothers continue to play this critical role to improve in their communities.”

Madam Dorothy Effah made these comments while accepting her Chairperson role at the recent 5^th Gathering of the Royals and Stakeholders Meeting organized by Agrihouse Foundation in Accra, on the theme, “Championing Agri-growth through our Queen Mothers – The Agri booster Module.”
