The Greater Accra Regional Director of Agriculture, Mr. Eric Asamani Hudson has paid a courtesy call to Agrihouse Foundation, to familiarize himself with the interventional projects and events run by the foundation.
During his visit, Mr. Asamani expressed immense satisfaction over the activities and projects of Agrihouse Foundation and encouraged the team to continue working hard because he shares greatly in the vision of the organization.
He noted that the 1 household, 1 Garden project, particularly, needs to be looked at as a nation campaign and a key agenda, and implemented effectively to make national impact, especially in these times of COVID-19.
He said the project, when given the needed support, will ensure the needed resilience is built and national food security assured to a large extend.
He said the inclusion of greeny and superfoods to the 1h, 1g programme will and go a long way to encourage Ghanaians to eat healthy foods that will help boost immune systems to fight COVID-19.
He therefore pledged the unreserved support of his outfit towards the initiative, and all other projects of Agrihouse Foundation.
The Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Ms. Alberta Akosa, thanked Mr. Anim for the courtesy call, and used the opportunity to share the 2021 Activities Calendar of Agrihouse Foundation with the director, emphasizing that, Agrihouse was committed to scaling-up on all it’s projects and events this year, and was therefore open to collaborations and support.
