Rejuvenate GAIA Global Limited one of the leading importers of Greenfert Organic Fertilizers teamed up with Agrihouse Foundation to empower women in Agribusiness for the sixth Gathering of the Royals organized by the Agrihouse Foundation on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, under the theme “Seeds of Change: Cultivating Gender Equality in Agriculture and Honoring Women’s Advancement”

In a statement  the Managing Director of Rejuvenate GAIA Global Limited Mr. Randolph Obeng Frimpong, emphasized the company’s dedication to empowering women while acknowledging the pivotal role of women in agriculture and their invaluable contributions.

“We believe that Women are at the heart of Food systems, they are already doing a lot in the Agricultural Sector and empowering them to do more means a lot to us”

He further highlighted the company’s belief in harnessing the full potential of women, recognizing the significant role women play in the Agricultural sector.

“We strongly believe in unlocking the boundless potential of women and acknowledging the immense influence they have on the agricultural sector. We recognize the vital role women play in shaping and driving the industry forward that’s why we came on board as sponsors. We are dedicated to empowering women and harnessing their skills to create a thriving and sustainable agricultural landscape.” He added

The Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa expressed immense gratitude to Rejuvenate GAIA Global Limited for their partnership for the sixth Gathering of the Royals.

Their commitment to fostering agribusiness growth and promoting women’s advancement within the sector is truly commendable. We deeply appreciate their partnership as we work together to make a lasting impact and empower women in agribusiness.”

This year’s Sixth Gathering of the Royals was in attendance of various Dignitaries including the Former First Lady Of The Republic Of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyeman -Rawlings, Zambian High Commissioner , H.E. Execllency Timothy Mwaba Walamba, Deputy High  Commissioner Of Kenya To Ghana, Togbe Kwasinyi Kakaklo Agyemang Iv, Adidome Chief , Deputy Minister For Food And Agriculture In charge Of Crops, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo ,Oyeabour Anobaa Sasraku, Larteh Sumankwaa hene and representatives from private institutions, academia, research associations, and civil society organizations making a remarkable results in building collaboration, sharing great practices, and forging partnerships focused at addressing the challenges faced by women in agriculture.

The event also brought together over one thousand participants which included 250  Queen Mothers from across the sixteen Regions, two hundred and sixty-five (265) Women Farmers and Farm Associations from across the sixteen regions of Ghana, and seventy women Agri-processors commanding value and volume within the agricultural sector.

The 6th Gathering of the Royals created a platform for queen mothers to engage in meaningful discussions, connect with one another, and gain valuable insights from shared experiences. Through thought-provoking conversations and networking sessions, the event fostered a sense of unity and empowerment among queen mothers, driving progress in agriculture.
