In the past three years, the tradeshow has facilitated extensive networking and dialoguing opportunities among livestock farmers in the country, as well as training and capacity building sessions in the areas of snail production, poultry, piggery, mushroom production, cattle and small ruminants rearing, and yogurt making.
The exhibitions aspects of the event has brought together over 1,300 participants and over 40 exhibitors from Ghana and countries like Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, among others. Brands that have participated in the exhibitions include, Jubaili, Ghana Poultry Project, Agricare, Tilly farms and Big Stars among others.
“This year the Exhibitions are going to be a very major and central part of the 2-day event. We recognize the need to continuously create market opportunities for agribusinesses, and partners working along the value chain. Therefore, we are reaching out to more organizations to register as Exhibitors, as the Team at Agrihouse works committedly on publicity and promotions towards a very fruitful and vibrant agribusiness exhibitions,” Executive Director, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa Sarpong said.

Last year, organized on the theme, “We move,” in collaboration with the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) feedbacks revealed that about 70% of trainees have registered their businesses and kick started their agribusinesses.
The upcoming edition is on the theme, “Speed Up – Build it Now,” and strategically seeks to scale-up the enthusiasm built over the years, by motivating, empowering and building the capacity of stakeholders to help them sustain the gains and agri-focused projects they initiated during the pandemic.
“Although LiPF focuses on Livestock production, its actors or stakeholders, the exhibition is also open for all other actors along the agriculture value chain. It is an intentional effort to promote other sectors of Agriculture as we boost the Livestock production of Ghana. Fundamentally, our goal is to boost Agriculture activities in the country and beyond,” Alberta said.
Past Sponsors of the event include USDA, ADB, Flour Mills of Ghana, Amplifies, among others. Collaborating Partners are the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners Association of Ghana, USDA, GPP, Ghana Enterprises Agency and Agrihouse Communications.
OPENING CEREMONY & CONFERENCE
There shall be an official an opening ceremony, which takes the form of a plenary session- Guests, Exhibitors and Participants would have the opportunity to dialogue and network among themselves.
EXHIBITION/TRADE SHOW
The event also provides a platform for Exhibitors to highlight their products and services to the public. The exhibition, which runs alongside the training sessions, take place on both days of the event.
TRAINING SESSIONS
Participants would have the opportunity to pre-register and be part of the training session at LiPF targeted at persons who want to take up careers or get additional income from starting a business in animal agriculture.
FOOD BAZAAR (chinchinga festival)
The CHINCHINGA FESTIVAL
The chinchinga festival will be a major side event at LiPF 2022. This will held on the second day from 12- 8pm. This Grills and Barbecue (chinchinga) festival shall celebrate the diversity of Ghanaian meat cuisines/ kebab – using the various livestock, fisheries and poultry product as well as soya bean. Various restaurants and street food vendors would be invited to display their chinchinga recipes to the numerous people who will come to the festival alongside some good music.
