The Activa Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Activa International Insurance Ghana, has provided a much-needed water system with a 50,000-litre storage capacity to the people of Breman Jamara in the Asikuma Adoben Brakwa District, Central Region.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Benjamin Yamoah highlighted the importance of clean and safe drinking water for the well-being of communities. He emphasized that the newly installed system, which comprises two 25,000-litre storage tanks, will ensure a continuous and hygienic water supply for Breman Jamara and potentially benefit neighboring communities as well.
“Water is life, and at Activa Ghana, we are proud that through the Activa Foundation, we can give back to society in a way that directly improves lives. Access to safe drinking water means eliminating waterborne diseases and promoting better health outcomes for the people of Breman Jamara,” Mr. Yamoah stated.
A Community Transformed
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the community, Nana Kwesi Ennin III acknowledged the long-standing struggle for potable water in the area. He noted that residents have endured years of hardship due to unreliable water sources, leading to frequent cases of waterborne illnesses.
