His Excellency Mochizuki Hisanobu, the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, has emphasized the remarkable potential of Ghana’s abundant and fertile land for cultivating a diverse range of crops. He believes that agriculture holds immense promise for the country’s youth, offering them opportunities for personal growth and success.
Ambassador Mochizuki urged the younger generation to approach agriculture with a fresh perspective, encouraging them to adopt innovative techniques and technologies that can significantly enhance productivity and profitability in the sector. By embracing cutting-edge approaches, the youth can position themselves for sustainable growth and contribute to the overall development of the nation.
Recognizing the critical role agriculture plays in Ghana’s economy, the Japanese ambassador encouraged the younger generation to embrace farming and related agribusiness ventures. By doing so, they can contribute not only to ensuring food security but also to the overall development of the nation.
Speaking in an interview with Agriwatchgh News, at the green Ghana day project ,in the nkwanta south region in the oti region, he highlighted the pivotal role agriculture plays in Ghana’s economy and urged the younger generation to consider agriculture as a serious career choice. He emphasized that by investing in the sector, the youth can secure their own livelihoods and contribute to Ghana’s overall development and prosperity.

He also stressed the importance of exploring value-added activities along the agricultural value chain, such as engaging in agribusiness ventures.
