The Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Alhassan Shani Saibu, have urged beneficiaries of the one household one garden (1H1G) initiative to make effective use of the knowledge and skills they have received from the training .
speaking at the training section ,in the northern region, the Regional Minister, encouraged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the knowledge and skills acquired.
Adding that, the training offers business opportunities which will go a long way to improve their livelihood.
‘’I am very satisfied with what I have seen here, the ability to organize women and the youth for empowerment, is a very good initiative especially when it deals with helping to improve livelihood of women and the youth”. He added
The Regional Minister also commended Agrihouse foundation for the 1H1G initiative saying it is very laudable and therefore there is the need to be maintained, in other to improve lives and the agricultural sector in Ghana.
Some beneficiaries also expressed their profound gratitude to Agrihouse Foundation and partners for the training they received. They say the knowledge and skills learnt will go a long way to improve their living conditions.
” We thank Agrihouse foundation for giving us this training, at least we have learnt so many things that we didn’t know ,this training will help improve our living condition. we promise to use every knowledge and skill acquired. They added.
The 1H1G project Is aimed at increasing incomes of smallholder farmer households by enhancing their capacity and strengthening food security in the rural areas.
