Agrihouse Foundation, in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy and Broodspectrum Limited is currently leading a 20-member delegation in Israel, including winner and runner-up of the 37th National Farmers’ Day, on an Agribusiness Investment and Educational Trip.
The five (5) day trip is expected to be an all-round result oriented and engaging period, to enable beneficiaries explore working opportunities, business and Investment relationships with Israeli companies and Businesses. Within the six (6) day period, the 20-member delegation will:
- Have one-on-one meetings with “Companies of Interest”
- Embark on Business-Educational Field trips, to have 1st hand experience of Israeli
Technology and Innovations at work, and build relationships, for knowledge transfer and partnerships
- Meet with Israeli Businesses, individuals and investors, who seek to expand and scale up their business operations to Africa
- Visit other places of interest, including historic sites.
This year’s farmer’s day winners participation in the trip is in fulfilment of the prize package promised them by the government of Ghana. Collectively, the Overall National Best Farmer, Alhaji Mohammed Mashud and the 2nd National Best Farmer, Chief Sulemana Yidana owns over 50,000 acres of crops and Livestock Farms.
Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa Sarpong is representing the Foundation of the trip.
