The highlight of the festival will be the highly anticipated Cooking Competition, where MPs and CEOs will temporarily hang up their political and business hats to don chef aprons. This friendly culinary battle will showcase their cooking skills and creativity as they compete to prepare unique chicken dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
Ms. Alberta Akyaa Akosa, the Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, expressed her excitement about the participation of MPs and CEOs, emphasizing their pivotal role in promoting Ghana’s poultry industry. ABOUT GHANA CHICKEN FESTIVAL
The Ghana chicken Festival, initiated 3 years ago by Agrihouse Foundation, in partnership with the Ghana Poultry Project, is passionately focused on, promoting and advocating for the patronage and consumption of locally produced Poultry, value chain products as well as the nutritional benefits of consuming our poultry. This year’s third Ghana chicken festival is in collaboration with the National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners’ Association,Ghana Poultry Farmers Association, Egg Secretariat, and Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
