The call to action aims to promote inclusivity, empower women, and ensure that all agriculturalists,regardless of their circumstances, can benefit from the WOFAGRIC and Gold in the Soil Awards.
“This event is designed to honor excellence in agriculture, and we want to ensure that every deserving individual, regardless of their circumstances, has an equal chance to benefit from the recognition and support provided.so We encourage women farmers, including those with disabilities, in the Eastern Region to come forward and actively participate in the WOFAGRIC and Gold in the Soil Awards,” stated the Chairperson.
The WOFAGRIC and Gold in the Soil Awards provide a platform for these women farmers to showcase their achievements and gain access to valuable resources and opportunities. In addition to recognition, theawards offer a host of valuable resources and support. Winners will gain access to mentorship programs, technical assistance, capacity-building initiatives, and exposure to national and international networks. These opportunities aim to amplify the impact of women farmers and foster further growth and success in the agricultural community.
The Chairperson further emphasized the significance of women’s active participation in shaping the agricultural sector’s future. Their unique perspectives, expertise, and experiences can contribute to innovative solutions and sustainable practices that benefit both their communities and the broader

As the deadline for nominations approaches, the Chairperson of the Planning Committee encourages all women farmers, particularly those with disabilities, in the Eastern Region to come forward and seize the opportunities presented by the WOFAGRIC and Gold in the Soil Awards.
