Twenty innovative agribusiness entrepreneurs have been declared winners of the Tullow AgriVentures Programme Pitch 2025, each receiving US$10,000 in seed funding, business development support, and access to new markets.
The winners, drawn from across the agricultural value chain, presented innovative solutions aimed at enhancing productivity, promoting sustainability, and driving growth in the country’s agribusiness sector.The award ceremony marked the close of months of rigorous training, mentorship, and pitching, where hundreds of agripreneurs competed for the chance to scale their businesses.
From a pool of 25 finalists, 20 winners emerged after delivering outstanding pitches that showcased innovation, scalability, and the potential to strengthen Ghana’s agricultural value chains.
Collectively, the 20 winners will benefit from more than GH¢2 million in smart investments from Tullow Ghana, underlining the company’s commitment to driving agricultural growth, job creation, and food security in Ghana.
Wide range of innovations
The winning ventures span the agricultural value chain, from climate-smart farming to agro-processing, digital platforms, and sustainable consumer products.
They include:
- JGrand Commodities – Processing raw cashew into roasted, flavoured, and coated nuts.
- AgroEmpire – Integrated snail, tomato, and pepper farming with farmer training.
- AFB Golden – Eco-friendly skincare and haircare from natural botanicals.
- Conquest Investment – Large-scale maize, rice, and soybean farming with out-grower support.
- Cornfields Green Ghana Ltd. – Climate-smart maize, soya, and cowpea farming.
- SAYeTECH – Smart agricultural machinery for smallholder farmers.
- Pascoe Fields – Greenhouse-grown premium tomatoes and peppers.
- Fruity Star – Natural fruit salads, juices, snacks, and beverages.
- Smithfield Agribusiness – Greenhouse farming with cold storage and post-harvest solutions.
- From a Mother’s Kitchen – Palm-based cooking products blending tradition and convenience.
- Mr. Kitchen – Natural pre-prepared Ghanaian cooking products.
- Ab OVO – Premium artisanal chocolate from organic cocoa.
- Grow it Green – Spice and ginger production for local and export markets.
- Mic-D Ventures – Nut, grain, and plantain-based snack products.
- Fortune Coffee – Locally processed Robusta, Arabica, and Liberica coffee.
- Yava Farms and Agricultural Consultancy – Integrated farming and agricultural training.
- Sava Shea – Shea-based skincare from upcycled ingredients.
- Peanut Concept – Moringa-based superfoods for health and wellness.
- Farm 360 – Inputs, digital tools, and diverse farm produce.
- Naya Success – Poultry and eggs in various processed forms.
Impact
Beyond funding, these agribusinesses will benefit from tailored business development support, market linkages, and technical guidance under the Tullow AgriVentures Programme, implemented by Innohub Foundation. The initiative is designed to catalyse sustainable agricultural growth, boost rural incomes, and create lasting economic impact in Ghana.
Nelson Madiba Amo, Executive Director of Innohub Foundation described the initiative as a model intervention for agribusiness development.
“This programme goes beyond training. It provides tailored business development, access to funding, and market opportunities that entrepreneurs truly need. We are proud of the winners, and we look forward to their journey of growth and impact,” he said.
On his part, Edmund Fiifi Enchill, Social Performance Manager at Tullow Ghana, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to investing in people and communities.
“We believe that the resources of the countries where we operate should benefit the people. Through the Tullow AgriVentures Programme, we are creating sustainable opportunities for agripreneurs to scale, create jobs, and drive economic growth,” he stated.
About the programme
The Tullow AgriVentures Programme (TAP) is part of Tullow’s broader community engagement strategy, Accelerating Progress Through Partnerships. The initiative seeks to launch 600 new agribusinesses and support 30 growth-stage ventures, with a goal of creating 1,500 direct and 4,500 indirect jobs in Ghana.
Through its New Venture Creation and Venture Growth modules, TAP equips entrepreneurs with training, mentorship, technical support, and smart investments, strengthening Ghana’s agriculture sector and boosting rural incomes.
