Agrihouse Foundation wishes to officially announce that the 15th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition, originally scheduled for October 2025, has been rescheduled to October 2026. This decision is part of our broader vision to create greater impact and deliver a more transformational experience in the coming years.
In a statement explaining the rationale behind this decision, the Executive Director, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, said:“As a Foundation, we believe in progress that is intentional and impactful. Postponing the 15th Pre-Harvest Conference and Exhibition to October 2026 gives us the space to strengthen collaborations, attract broader participation, and expand the scope of the platform.
“This postponement is our opportunity to reimagine and re-energize the event so that it continues to meet the evolving needs of Ghana’s agricultural sector.
We want to ensure that when we convene, every farmer, agribusiness, and partner experiences real transformation whether through new markets, access to finance, knowledge exchange, or innovative technologies.”
The 15th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and exhibition will be designed to deliver deeper impact and to pave the way for a stronger, more resilient agricultural sector. Together with our partners and stakeholders, we remain committed to building a future of agriculture that is innovative, sustainable, and inclusive.”
Background of the Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition
The Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition began 14 years ago after the exit of the USAID ADVANCE Project and has since been sustained and expanded by us at Agrihouse Foundation. Today, it stands as Ghana’s leading agribusiness marketplace, bringing together thousands of value chain actors annually.
Pre-Harvest has grown into a movement that unites farmers, agribusinesses, financial institutions, policymakers, and development partners to engage, share knowledge, explore innovations, and form partnerships that strengthen Ghana’s agricultural sector.
Through this platform, we have facilitated business linkages worth millions of Ghana cedis, introduced groundbreaking agricultural technologies, and provided capacity-building opportunities for over 130,000 farmers and agripreneurs. It has also become a trusted space for driving innovation, youth inclusion, and women’s empowerment in agriculture.
As we prepare toward October 2026, we see this milestone edition as more than just a gathering. It will be a celebration of the journey we have built together over the years, and a bold step into the future of agriculture in Ghana and beyond.
