Agrihouse Foundation is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking relocation of the 13th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition. This esteemed agricultural event is set to depart from its long-standing venue at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium and make its historic debut at the Agrihouse Agri-Village Training and Demonstration Center in Kudula, Tamale, in the Northern Region.  scheduled from Tuesday, October 24th, to Thursday , October 26th, 2023, under the theme: “CONNECTING THE UNCONNECTED: THE FARMER, INPUT DEALER, AND THE PROCESSOR.”
Traditionally held at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, the 13th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition will mark an unprecedented shift this year  to the agrihouse Agri-Village Training and Demonstration Center in Kudula, Tamale, This relocation aims to spotlight the Northern Region’s vibrant agricultural potential and the remarkable contributions of Northern Ghana to the nation’s agricultural landscape.

In a statement, the Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, expressed her excitement about this transformative decision, saying, “We are thrilled to announce that the 13th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition is making its historic move to  the agrihouse agri-village training and demonstration center in Kudula, in the Northern Region, this move encapsulates the essence of our mission to connect ,farmers ,input dealers and processors   to promote  sustainable agriculture and rural development”

We believe that by bringing the 13th annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition to agrihouse agri-village training and demonstration center in  Kudula, we are not only facilitating connections within the agricultural value chain but also contributing to the economic empowerment and development of the local community. It is our hope that this event will continue to create lasting impacts, providing market linkage ,inspire innovation, and leave a legacy of agricultural excellence in Northern Ghana and Ghana.

Each year, the Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition successfully draws over 3,700 participants over the three-day period. The three-day program includes conference sessions, presentations, exhibitions, and a marketplace designed to facilitate business-to-business interactions.

This dynamic platform serves as a bridge for contract negotiations, enhancing the capacity of smallholder farmers, Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs), Aggregators, Processors, input dealers, equipment and machinery dealers, irrigation specialists, financial institutions, and telecommunications companies. Additionally, development partners, insurance companies, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies actively participate.

The 13th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Conference and Exhibition is proudly brought to you by Agrihouse Foundation in partnership with Yara Ghana, GIZ-EUGAP, and Interplast.

A diverse array of companies will be part of the exhibition, including input dealers, smallholder farmers, Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs), Aggregators, Processors, input dealers, equipment and machinery dealers, irrigation specialists, financial institutions, and telecommunications companies. Also, development partners, insurance companies, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies are actively involved.
