Agrihouse Foundation has unveiled its intentional, tactical and strategic roadmap for 2026 in a maiden stakeholder actions and approaches breakfast meeting.
The meeting held on January 30, 2026 in Accra engaged stakeholders and partners on the Foundation’s intentional and tactical approaches in implementing its intervening actions and initiatives.

The Founder and Executive Chair of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa in her open remarks stated that, the meeting aims to align with the foundation’s theme for the year 2026 of being intentional and tactical with their programmes. As such, engaging with its publics on its roadmap will help to make more measurable impacts going forward.
“we are beginning the year with our activities and as we always do, normally, we will come to your offices to share with you what we are doing, our actions and approaches and how they can influence the overall goal, but we thought of doing something special this year scale up with our initiatives. We are happy to have you all here as we proceed.”
Ms Akosa mentioned that, “2026 being the ‘Year of Intentional, Tactical, and Well Thought-Through Agrifood Systems Actions’ required that the foundation engages its partners and industry actors for broader consultation, taking feedback and recommendations for decision making and strategic actions with the implementation of our programmes.”
“And as this year has been declared the international year of the woman farmer, we will focus more on our women who are doing well as a farmer or agripreneur.”

Ms Akosa underscores the importance of partnership in achieving success in the agricultural sector. She highlighted that Agrihouse Foundation has been successful in implementing its projects, programmes and interventions through partnerships with other organizations both locally and internationally over the years, which has produced real measurable results, thereby commending their support and collaborations.
According to her, these results from the Foundation’s interventions depict the need to consistently engage stakeholders and partners through their interventions to address lingering gaps and challenges in the agricultural sector, contributing to developing sustainable agri-food systems while creating opportunities for women, people with disabilities and the youth.

Agrihouse Foundation’s commitment to extend its reach and impacts across has given birth to other units that are offering services that make real impacts on agribusinesses. The units include Agrihouse Communications, AgriwatchGh, and the Ghana-Nebraska Agribusiness Growth and Trade Relations Chamber (GNEMBCHAM). The meeting dedicated a session to highlighting the units with a precise focus on their respective services and operations, offering stakeholders the opportunity for perspective collaborations and partnerships.



Impact Communications and Digital Lead, Michael Arthur, and the Communications and Market Development Lead, Pamela Setor, highlighted Agrihouse Communications as a specialized communications and event management outlet that provides professional services to agribusinesses. Other services include Public relations and media buying or management, corporate branding and concept development, digital and social media communications, website development, and many others.


AgriwatchGh on the other hand in a presentation by the Editorial Head, Ms Linda Boateng said, the unit functions as an online agricultural news feeder. It is a news portal that ensures that the agricultural sector remains visible, informed and connected through constant dissemination of relevant information, education, and trends. AgriwatchGh with the URL www.agriwatchgh.com is a specialized media website with a high traffic of 7000 to 8000 visitors monthly, providing daily updates on agricultural trends, government policies, market prices, and global agribusiness news. AgriwatchGh offers news coverage and reporting, outdoor events coverage, advertisement and rentals. AgriwatchGh currently offers an advertisement package with 30% discount and free for all women agripreneurs, agriprocessesors and women farmers as part of the launch of the International Year of the Woman Farmer by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Speaking about GNEBCHAM’s mandate and operations, the Acting Chair, Mr. Cecil Sunkwa Mills and the Head of Membership and Activities. Ms. Deborah Thomas conveyed that the chamber was born out of a collaboration between the Agrihouse Foundation (led by Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa) and former Nebraska State Senator Ken Schilz. GNEBCHAM focuses on transforming Ghana’s agricultural landscape through several key goals such as technology transfer, market access, investment facilitation, and educational exchange.

The meeting witnessed evidence-based testimonies from some participants reinforcing the impacts of Agrihouse Foundation’s initiatives. A beneficiary of the Agriculture Students Career Guidance and Mentorship Bootcamp, James Kpormelogbe who is now operating his own agribusiness known as Akuafo-Link, thanked Agrihouse Foundation for nurturing his dream and mentoring him to start a venture that is now funding his tertiary education.

“I sincerely want to say that I am who I am today because of Agrihouse. I completed SHS with no vision and no focus but after participating in AG-STUD Bootcamp in 2019, I was able to challenge myself and I can boldly say that through Agrihouse Foundation I am a tertiary student today.”
The Chief Operating Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Mr. Michael Opuni-Frimpong, the Head of Projects, Mr. Blessed Danso, and Membership Engagement and Activities Head, Deborah Thomas respectively highlighted through their presentations, the impacts made by Agrihouse Foundation through their nine distinctive initiatives over the last nine years which are voluminous and worthy of recognition.

They emphasized that Agrihouse Foundation has impacted individuals, bridge gaps in the sector, influenced communities, shaped national and regional agendas in agriculture and Agribusiness, and influenced global vision in building robust food systems and food security.
Representatives from Yara Ghana, the Brasil Embassy, Ministry of Education, Ghana Egg Secretariat, PUM Netherlands, and others commended Agrihouse for taking a leading role in championing and influencing the agricultural sector and Ghana’s Agri-food systems over the years through consistent partnership.
