The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), in partnership with MGA Consulting Ghana Limited, has opened applications for a digital capacity-building programme designed to equip young livestock farmers with practical business and technology skills to improve the performance of their enterprises.
The initiative targets young people aged 18 to 35 living in the Greater Accra Region and aims to strengthen the use of digital tools in livestock production, financial management, and agribusiness marketing.
Practical training for agribusiness growth
Participants will receive hands-on training in key areas essential for building competitive and sustainable livestock businesses. The programme combines classroom learning with field exposure and mentorship, ensuring that participants can immediately apply the skills to their own enterprises.
Training will cover:
Digital record keeping for livestock enterprises
Financial management and business tracking
Digital marketing strategies for agribusinesses
Branding and enterprise visibility
Responsible and effective use of digital tools
According to the organisers, the mentorship component will provide participants with continued guidance as they implement digital solutions within their businesses.
Who can apply?
