Agrihouse Foundation, will on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, launch the 13th annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition Conference at the AGRIHOUSE AGRI-VILLAGE LEARNING ,INNOVATION ,TRAINING AND DEMONSTRATION CENTRE, situated in Kudula, Tamale, in the Northern Region.

The 13th edition of the annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition Conference is under the theme ‘Connecting the Unconnected, ‘the farmer, the input dealer and the  processor , reflecting the commitment of the event  to foster collaborations and synergy across the entire agricultural value chain, ultimately bolstering Ghana’s agricultural sector.

Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, the Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, stated that, “Over the years, Agrihouse Foundation has been dedicated to the mission of promoting sustainable agriculture in Ghana, and the annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition Conference has been at the forefront of our efforts.

The events  annually brings   together farmers, processors, input dealers, aggregators, farmer-based organization, smallholder farmers, seeds, fertilizer, irrigation, finance, processors, ICT service providers, machinery and equipment companies with the primary objective of facilitating contract negotiations, establishing market linkages, and enhancing the capabilities of various stakeholders within the agricultural value chain.

Through these gatherings, we have witnessed firsthand the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing. We’ve seen farmers access valuable training and resources, processors discover new markets, and input dealers and companies form vital partnerships,” said Ms. Akosa.

“Our commitment to creating a thriving agricultural ecosystem has borne fruit as we’ve watched businesses grow, livelihoods improve, and Ghana’s agriculture sector prosper. These successes are a testament to the annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition Conference in improving the agricultural sector.

Now, as we prepare to launch the 13th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition Conference under the theme ”Connecting the Unconnected, ‘the farmer, the input dealer and the  processor ‘ “the  theme this year underscores the importance of collaboration and partnership in driving agricultural transformation. Through Pre-Harvest, we aim to break down barriers and forge connections that will enable farmers, processors, and input dealers and stakeholders in the entire agricultural value chain thrive collectively.”

“We aim to build on the foundations we’ve laid and take our mission to the next level. In this 13th edition, attendees can expect an even more enriching experience. We will continue to provide valuable training, foster partnerships, and create opportunities for all stakeholders in the agricultural value chain. We envision an event where every connection made and every piece of knowledge shared contributes to the growth and prosperity of Ghana’s agriculture.

We invite everyone involved in agriculture, from the farmer in the field to the processor and the input dealer, to join us at the AGRIHOUSE AGRI-VILLAGE LEARNING ,INNOVATION ,TRAINING AND DEMONSTRATION CENTRE, situated in Kudula, Tamale, within the Northern region, for this transformative event. Together, we will explore new horizons, break down barriers, and shape the future of agriculture in Ghana.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 13th Annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition Conference, where we will unite, collaborate, and take giant strides towards a more vibrant and sustainable agricultural sector ” concluded Ms. Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa
