The National Lead for the World Food Forum Ghana Chapter, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, has expressed great confidence in the youth’s potential to transform and safeguard the future of Ghana’s food systems.
Speaking at the International Youth Day celebration at Accra Academy Senior High School, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, , expressed unwavering confidence in the ability of young Ghanaians to revolutionize the country’s agricultural landscape.
“The WFF Ghana Chapter is dedicated to ensuring that more young people are at the forefront of this movement,” MS. Akosa emphasized. “Our goal is to inspire a new wave of leaders who will take the mantle and steer Ghana’s agriculture toward a sustainable and prosperous future.”
Ms. Akosa encouraged them to remain resolute and passionate about their roles in the agricultural sector. “Keep the fire burning,” she urged. “You are not just the future of the agriculture sector—you are the future of Ghana itself.”
The International Youth Day celebration by the WFF Ghana Chapter, served as a powerful platform to galvanize young people into action. Through a series of workshops and discussions, the event aimed to equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead Ghana’s agricultural transformation.
