The 34th Session of the FAO Regional Conference for Africa (ARC34) will be held in Mauritania in April 2026.
The high-level Regional Conference convenes Ministers of Agriculture and other key stakeholders to discuss issues related to food and agriculture specific to the Region and priority areas to be considered in preparing FAO’s Programme of Work and Budget for the next biennium.
In addition to ARC34, Mauritania will host the first session of the World Food Forum (WFF) Africa Regional Chapter, which will offer a platform to discuss issues around youth, investment and science and innovation that are pertinent to the Africa region.
This survey is the first component of the youth consultation to solicit recommendations to be incorporated into relevant documents of the Conference, and potential topics to be discussed during the WFF Regional Chapter.
