Scheduled to take place on Saturday July 1st ,2023 at the forecourt of the State House, the festival aims to celebrate Ghana’s thriving poultry industry while promoting local poultry farming and encouraging the consumption of high-quality, locally sourced poultry products. The highlight of the festival will be the highly anticipated Cooking Competition, where MPs and CEOs will temporarily hang up their political and business hats to don chef aprons. The Ghana chicken Festival, initiated 3 years ago by Agrihouse Foundation, in partnership with the Ghana Poultry Project, is passionately focused on, promoting and advocating for the patronage and consumption of locally produced Poultry, value chain products as well as the nutritional benefits of consuming our poultry. This year’s third Ghana chicken festival is in collaboration with the National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners’ Association,Ghana Poultry Farmers Association, Egg Secretariat, and Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
