The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Nkwanta South Municipality in the Oti Region, Hon. Bright Lenwah, has called upon the youth in the region to embrace agriculture as a means of securing sustainable livelihoods. Recognizing the untapped potential of the agricultural sector, the MCE highlighted the numerous opportunities available and urged young individuals to consider farming as a viable career choice.
Speaking During the Green Ghana Day observation, which focused on promoting environmental sustainability and tree planting, Hon. Bright Lenwah emphasized the need for a paradigm shift in how agriculture is perceived. He stressed that viewing farming as a business rather than a traditional occupation is crucial for the economic empowerment of the youth and the overall development of Nkwanta South.
