In a bold demonstration of its commitment to promoting sustainable agribusiness in Ghana, Qualiplast Company Ltd. partnered with Agrihouse Foundation to contribute to the successful organization of the 5th Ghana Poultry Day, held on July 1, 2025, at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
As part of its sponsorship, Qualiplast donated a range of essential plastic products to support event operations and exhibitors. These included waste bins, coolers, multipurpose crates, baskets, bowls, buckets, and plastic egg crates. These items were used for product display, safe handling, storage, and efficient event management throughout the day.
In a statement, Ms. Andrea Akl, Deputy General Manager of Qualiplast Company Ltd., emphasized the company’s dedication to innovation and its alignment with the needs of the agricultural sector:

The Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Qualiplast for its meaningful partnership, noting that the company’s sponsorship significantly enhanced the success of the event.

organized by Agrihouse Foundation , under the theme, “Investing in the Local Poultry Sector: A Means to Creating Jobs, Promoting Agritourism and Improving Food Security,” the event brought together farmers, agribusinesses, policymakers, students, and members of the public to explore strategies for revitalizing Ghana’s poultry industry and strengthening national food systems.
With each passing year, Ghana Poultry Day continues to grow in significance as a platform for addressing challenges and uncovering opportunities in the sector. The 2025 edition also strongly advocated for the increased consumption of locally produced poultry, encouraging Ghanaians to support domestic farmers and reduce reliance on imported poultry products.
