The University of Ghana Business School, with funding from the Agricultural Manufacturing group A.M.G, has commissioned an innovation and incubation hub with the aim of creating practical students and entrepreneurs for the job market.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, of the Agricultural Manufacturing Group, Ernest Akwasi Appiah, at the launch and handling over ceremony, the General Manager of A.M.G, Madam Dorothy Opoku stated that the Agricultural Manufacturing Group as part of its core mandate is aimed at helping to build lives of student and is also keen on promoting entrepreneurship among the youth so the company is privileged to help bring the innovation and incubation hub to life.
She added that the innovation and incubation hub will help in building the next generation of entrepreneurs, and urged the student to be innovative and explore their potentials by making full use of the hub to make an impact for themselves and the country.
The Dean of the University of Ghana Business School, Prof. Justice Nyigmah Bawole added that, the university aside teaching student to fit into the job market is also keen on ensuring that student explore their innovative ideas in other to become entrepreneurs to help curb youth unemployment in the country.
He however commended the Chief Executive Officer of A.M.G Mr. Ernest Akwasi Appiah who is also an alumni of the school and the entire agricultural manufacturing group for funding the innovative and incubation project.
The Agricultural manufacturing group limited is Ghana’s second largest solely importer of fertilizers in the country, they also play a critical role in feeding Ghana by helping growers to increase both crop and food production.
