Yara Ghana Limited, a leading fertilizer company, have recognized and rewarded the exceptional efforts of four top retailers in the Northern Region through its Yara Connect loyalty program.
Hadara Enterprise in Wa, Saka Enterprise in Bawku, and Balnaba Enterprise in Bawku were each rewarded with tricycles, while Abowine Enterprise in Bolganta received a motorbike in recognition of their outstanding performance
During the award presentation ceremony, Ms. Theresa Randolph, the Managing Director of Yara Ghana, underscored the pivotal role that retailers play in the agricultural value chain.
In line with our digital transformation initiatives, Yara Ghana Limited introduced the Yara Connect loyalty program to enhance its relationship with last-mile retailers.
The application-based loyalty program provides retailers with access to valuable services such as product information, application rates, and agronomic advice. Empowered with this knowledge, retailers can better assist farmers, recommending Yara as a reliable and effective solution for their agricultural needs.
Ms. Randolph emphasized that the Yara Connect program aims to establish a seamless input channel from Yara to the farm, contributing to sustainable growth and supporting the development of thriving smallholder farming communities.
Yara Ghana Limited have also rewarded several other retailers who actively engaged with the Yara Connect app. Prizes included mobile phones, t-shirts, fertilizers, and more, highlighting the company’s commitment to encouraging digital engagement within its network of retailers.
