The Founder of Mikleb Enterprise Limited Farm, Mr.Joseph Kwesi Boamah,has advised youth to consider Agriculture as a lucrative and humble business, as well as a viable career option . He made this statement while hosting Participants of the ongoing Agricultural Students Career Guidance and Mentorship Dialogue (AG-STUD) Bootcamp,during a field study tour to his 200-acre farm located in Loye, in the Central Region of Ghana.
According to him, farming requires hard work, dedication, and patience, but it can be profitable and fulfilling. He advised young people to choose crops and animals that are in high demand and to consider the quality of the soil and other factors when selecting their farm products.
he also encouraged young people to use modern technology and innovation in farming to increase their yield and reduce costs. He cited precision farming as an example of modern Agricultural practices that could lead to higher profits.
participants of the 2023 AG-STUD Bootcamp were inspired by his success story and his advice on farming. They appreciated the opportunity to learn from a successful Agribusiness owner and expressed their interest in starting their own farming ventures.
Mr.Boamah’s farm produces a variety of crops and livestock, including mango, coconut,vegetables, pigs, fisheries, sheep, goats, goose, duck, among others. During the tour, Mr. Boamah shared his experience and insights on Agribusiness with the participants .

Mr.Boamah hopes that his experience will inspire young people to consider agriculture as a viable career option and contribute to the growth and development of the Agricultural Sector in the country.
