The Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, has received a prestigious invitation from the Vatican to address the 3rd World Meeting on Human Fraternity, scheduled for September 12–13, 2025, in Rome, Italy, where she will join distinguished leaders and innovators in sharing personal testimonies on how their work embodies the principles of fraternity.
The 3rd World Meeting on Human Fraternity, organized under the guidance of the Fratelli Tutti encyclical and held under the auspices of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, annually seeks to bring together global leaders to promote dialogue, peace, solidarity, and cooperation.
Alberta has been invited to serve as a “witness” speaker in the Thought section of the program, themed “Technological and Social Innovation for the Food System,” will draw on her experiences in Ghana’s agricultural sector, by highlighting how Agrihouse Foundation is breaking barriers such as gender inequality, limited land access, and technological exclusion particularly for women, youth, and rural farmers. She will also emphasize the importance of grassroots-driven innovation,
underscoring that true transformation in agriculture begins at the community level, where fraternity is lived through collaboration and resilience.
Her participation carries symbolic weight, underscoring Agrihouse Foundation’s commitment to strengthening Africa’s role in shaping the global food security agenda while affirming Ghana’s contributions to international discussions on inclusive food systems, innovation, and agricultural advancement.

This year’s meeting, guided by the Fratelli Tutti encyclical, will spotlight the crucial role of food systems and local communities in advancing social equity and fostering a more united world.
