Miss Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, the Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation underscored her vision to contributing passionately to humanity especially women through agriculture.
Speaking on Agrishow, the 3rd Largest Agri-Tech fair in the world, she revealed that the Agrihouse Foundation seeks to recognize, rectify challenges in the agricultural value chain and changing the narrative about agriculture by implementing interventional projects.
The Executive Director highlighted that Ghana is at a developing stage in agric and it is very expedient citizens get to appreciate the sector to help develop career paths.
Through astute partners, USAID and Agra Ghana. of the Agrihouse Foundation, it has over the past 5 years been driving a national advocacy on animal-agriculture value chain through capacity building projects like AGSTUD, Pre-harvest Event, the 1Household 1Garden Project, INTAFAC, WOFAGRIC, LiPF, Agri-Woman Market Place; to train, provide, a long-term market development opportunity for women agripreneurs, students and other value chain actors.
Her advocacy and drive towards impacting the lives of women through the Agrihouse Foundation is to key in solutions, provide job opportunities, improve food security and proper nutrition.
