Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has hosted a Customer Appreciation Breakfast to celebrate its corporate clients and strengthen relationships with key partners.
The Bank used the platform to demonstrate and reaffirm its unwavering commitment to service excellence and service experience across its touchpoints.
The event also provided a platform to share insights on the Bank’s strong financial performance, growth strategy, and future direction, while engaging directly with customers to gather feedback on their banking experiences and expectations.
The breakfast meeting brought together corporate clients from various sectors, including agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, public sector, among others. The interactive session was designed to foster open dialogue on how ADB can continue to provide efficient, innovative, and customer-centered financial solutions tailored to the evolving needs of its diverse clientele.
In his interactive remarks, the Managing Director of ADB, Edward Ato Sarpong, expressed profound appreciation to customers for their loyalty and continued partnership, which he noted has been instrumental to the Bank’s sustainability over the past 60 years.
Mr. Sarpong also used the occasion to announce the Bank’s new key strategies and operational initiatives aimed at shortening processes or turnaround time and fostering excellent service delivery. He explained that the key strategies and operational changes reflect ADB’s renewed focus on speed, accountability, and service excellence as part of its broader transformation agenda.
“Our customers remain at the heart of everything we do,” Mr. Sarpong said.
“The new key strategies and operational changes are a demonstration of our commitment to deliver faster, more responsive, and more reliable banking services. We are building a future-ready bank that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations,” he added.
“This event will be organized regularly as a key channel for co-creating with our customers as part of the overall agenda of building futures together,” he further stated.
The ADB MD shared some key highlights of the current performance such as pre-tax profit hitting GH¢447.49million in 2025 3Q, representing 153.66% growth compared to GH¢176.41million recorded during the same period in 2024, total assets growth by 17%, rising from GH¢13.87billion in September 2024 to GH¢16.22billion as of September 2025, which reflected continued balance sheet expansion driven by robust growth in investment securities, deposits among others.
He attributed the strong results to prudent financial management, improved efficiency, and tactical investment in areas that align with the Bank’s strategic vision. He also reassured customers that the Bank is well-positioned to sustain its growth trajectory, deliver greater value, and remain a trusted partner in driving national development.
Participants at the event shared useful feedback through a live customer feedback questionnaire on service improvements, product innovation, and technology adoption, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the Bank and its customers in achieving sustainable growth.
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, who attended the event as a special guest, commended ADB for its growth agenda and indicated the Ghana Police Service’s unwavering commitment to establishing stronger partnership with ADB. He also reiterated commitment of the Ghana Police Service to continue to provide adequate security support for financial institutions across the country.
