Deputy Managing Director at Cocoa Processing Company, Fatimah Amoadu, a formidable leader bridging the gap between global commodity markets and grassroots community development, has been named a panelist for the Agri-Royal Dialogue at the 8th Gathering of the Royals.
The gathering, taking place on March 31, 2026, at the GNAT Hall in Accra, focuses on the theme: “Seeds of Change: From Leadership to Legacy – Women Transforming the Agrifood Systems.” As the Deputy Managing Director of one of Ghana’s leading cocoa processing firms, Fatimah Amoadu embodies the very essence of this year’s mission.

From the Boardroom to the Farm Gate
Fatimah Amoadu is widely recognized for her relentless pursuit of value addition within the cocoa sector. In her executive role, she oversees the transformation of raw cocoa beans into processed goods, ensuring that the “sweat of the farmer” translates into fairer returns and stronger governance at the start of the value chain.
Her professional expertise is uniquely complemented by her role as the Mputuhene of Ekumfi Srafa Mpoano. Carrying the weight of tradition with pride, she uses her stool as a platform to advocate for the smallholder farmers she negotiates for in the boardroom.
Beyond policy and processing, Fatimah is a hands-on philanthropist. Through the Obaapa Fatimah Amoadu Foundation, she has quietly revolutionized livelihoods across Ekumfi Srafa, Immuna, and Ekrawfo.
During the Agri-Royal Dialogue, Fatimah will share her deep-seated belief that women should not merely work within the agrifood system. Her contribution to the panel will focus on how value addition and traditional authority can be combined to hand a better legacy to the next generation of Ghanaian women.
