About One Hundred and Seventy (170) Ghanaian youth are expected to benefit from the 3rd edition of the Monthly Agribusiness Skills and Jobs for the Youth roadshow dubbed ‘’it is possible’’, an initiative by the Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle Constituency, Hon. Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings in partnership with Agrihouse Foundation. The event   will be held at the Accra High School located at Ridge in Accra on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This edition promises to once again ignite the aspirations of young individuals and equip them with the knowledge and training   to excel in snail farming.
Beneficiaries of the 3rd edition of the “It is Possible” Monthly Agribusiness Skills and Jobs for the Youth Roadshow will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts who will share invaluable insights and practical advice on Snail Farming    Management and gain hands-on experience in snail farming techniques and best practices.
As a testament to the roadshow’s commitment to supporting the journey of these aspiring agripreneurs, each participant will receive a complimentary starter pack which   will serve as a catalyst, enabling them to kickstart their own snail farming ventures with confidence.

This initiative has not only equipped young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in agribusiness but has also provided them with a reliable source of livelihood. It stands as a beacon of hope for unemployed youth, offering them free monthly agribusiness training and opportunities to gain meaningful employment, thus contributing significantly to the reduction of youth unemployment in the country.

Hon.Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings emphasized the importance of investing in the capacity of young Ghanaians interested in agriculture to ensure the growth and sustainability of the country’s agricultural sector. She highlighted some challenges facing the youth, including the rising unemployment rate, and noted that proactive and forward-thinking initiatives are needed to ensure the capacity building of the youth.

The Member of Parliament believes that the youth have the capacity to ensure the growth and sustainability of the country. She advised the beneficiaries of the “It Is Possible” Roadshow to take the training seriously, as it is an avenue to empower and create employment for themselves and others, transforming their lives and making them self-sufficient.

Ms. Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, expressed the Foundation’s commitment to investing in the Agri-youth of Ghana. She believes that this initiative will empower the youth and promote sustainable development in the agricultural sector. She also encouraged the youth to take advantage of this opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to transform their lives.
“We are thrilled to be part of this transformative initiative. Agrihouse Foundation’s mission has always been to empower the youth and promote sustainable development in the agricultural sector ‘.

The youth have immense potential, and we believe that by equipping them with the essential skills and resources needed to excel in agribusiness, we are not only transforming their lives but also contributing to the growth and sustainability of our country’s agricultural sector. She added.

Through this initiative, we have created opportunities for young individuals to gain meaningful employment, thus addressing the pressing issue of youth unemployment. Our commitment to this cause is unwavering, and we encourage all beneficiaries to embrace this opportunity wholeheartedly.
