Accra will host the Ghana Horticulture Expo 2025 from 11 to 13 June at the Accra International Conference Centre. The event will bring together over 200 exhibitors and 3,000 trade visitors from around the world under the theme ‘Innovate, transform, sustain: Driving growth in Ghana’s horticultural sector’.
The expo is jointly organised by the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA). It aims to position Ghana’s horticulture industry as a key driver of the national economy, focusing on export growth and value addition.
President John Dramani Mahama will deliver the keynote address, highlighting the government’s commitment to agribusiness development, job creation, climate resilience and youth involvement in export-focused value chains.
Davies Narh Korboe, President of FAGE, described the expo as a milestone in the country’s transition from exporting raw produce to becoming a competitive, value-added horticulture exporter.
“This event showcases not only our fruits and vegetables but also the future of Ghana’s economy—one that is inclusive, sustainable and export-ready,” he said.
The expo will feature business-to-business matchmaking with international buyers, policy discussions, export readiness training and a focus on women and youth-led agribusinesses and climate-smart technologies.
Organisers say the event reflects Ghana’s determination to reduce poverty through farming, create jobs for young people and develop women-led agri-enterprises into global brands.
The Ghana Horticulture Expo 2025 offers exporters, buyers, investors, policy-makers, academics and innovators an opportunity to engage with the future of Africa’s green economy.
