Yara Ghana Limited has donated crop nutrition products valued at over GH₵650,000 to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture(MoFA) in support of the 41st National Farmers’ Day Celebration.
According to Ms. Theresa Randolph, Country Manager of Yara Ghana Limited, the donation is a significant contribution toward the nationwide event, with various municipalities and districts assemblies expected to benefit.
“Today, we had the opportunity as Yara to donate a total amount of over GH₵650,000 to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture—a vital contribution towards the 41st Farmers’ Day Celebration here in Ghana,” she said.
Ms. Randolph described the gesture as an honour to the Ghanaian farmer and a demonstration of Yara’s belief in the vital role farmers play in sustaining the nation’s agricultural sector. She further emphasized that the donation reflects Yara’s continued support for Ghana’s agribusiness value chain.

She noted that the company remains committed to supporting this year’s Farmers’ Day activities and will fully participate in the celebration from December 1 to December 5, 2025, in Ho—reinforcing their dedication to farmer knowledge, agronomic improvement, and sustainable agricultural practices.
“We will be live from the 1st of December to the 5th right here in Ho, supporting the farmers and showcasing what Yara does in terms of agronomic knowledge and practical understanding as knowledge grows,” she stated.
Ms. Randolph also expressed Yara’s strong alignment with this year’s Farmers’ Day theme, “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future,” noting that it reflects the company’s global mission.
“We believe in the theme ‘Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future’ because, as Yara, our mission is to feed the world and protect the planet. We understand that this can only be achieved when all Ghanaians rally behind farmers and support agriculture as a whole,” she added.
