In Agrihouse Foundation’s mission to strengthen grassroots impact, the 8th Gathering of the Royals will witness the distribution of 4,800 Day-Old Chick starter packs to young women across all 16 regions of Ghana through Queen mothers.
The event, scheduled for March 31, 2026, at the GNAT Hall in Accra, marks the fulfillment of the “Commitment to Act” made during the 7th edition in 2025. By providing these tangible resources, the Gathering of the Royals is shifting the narrative from policy pledges to active economic empowerment.
The milestone is the result of a strategic partnership between the Agrihouse Foundation and Kuipers Breeders Ghana, a leader in world-class Dutch poultry genetics. Based in the Ada West District, Kuipers Breeders is supporting the high-quality foundation for these new agribusinesses.
To ensure the long-term success of the beneficiaries, each starter pack is designed as a comprehensive “business-package,” including:
Fully Vaccinated 4800 Day-Old Chicks (Nkoko Nkititi): Bred by Kuipers Breeders for high productivity and disease resistance.
High-Quality Feed: Specifically formulated to ensure rapid and healthy early-stage growth.
Essential Vaccines: To protect livestock health and mitigate risks for first-time farmers.
Critical Farming Tools: Professional equipment, such as feeding and water trays, to modernize daily operations.

Central to this distribution model is the role of Ghana’s traditional leaders. As the true custodians of community land and development, the Queen Mothers will facilitate the handover and provide ongoing mentorship to the young women in their respective districts.
Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa, Executive Chair of the Agrihouse Foundation, emphasized that this is a deliberate investment in sustainable livelihoods.
“By placing these resources in the hands of young women under the mentorship of their Queen Mothers, we ensure they have both the physical inputs and the practical knowledge support needed to succeed,” she stated.
