A US-based philanthropist, Mr Samuel Saupo has supported the Agrihouse Foundation with the donation of Wellington boots to strengthen its outreach and community engagement activities across Ghana.
The philanthropist also donated power banks and adaptable chargers to help farmers in remote areas or communities to keep their phones on at all times.
The donation is aimed to enhance the Foundation’s ability to reach women farmers, youth in agriculture, and farmers living with disabilities, particularly in hard-to-access and underserved communities where mobility challenges often limit extension services, training opportunities, and market linkages. The gesture further reflects a growing spirit of collaboration aimed at deepening agricultural inclusion and long-term transformation,
Expressing her gratitude, the Executive Chair of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa expressed on behalf of the Foundation, profound appreciation to Samuel Saupo for his continued support and dedication to the Foundation’s mission.
According to her, this is a reflection of Saupo’s longstanding relationship with the Foundation and his consistent belief in the transformative work being carried out to empower vulnerable groups within the agricultural sector.
“We are deeply grateful to Mr. Samuel Saupo for this generous donation. This is not the first time he has extended support to Agrihouse Foundation, and we truly value his continuous commitment to our vision and mission. His support over the years has contributed immensely to helping us reach and impact more women, youth, and farmers living with disabilities across various communities in Ghana,” she stated.

She further noted that the Wellington boots will play a vital role in enhancing mobility and accessibility during field activities, especially in communities where transportation challenges often limit access to agricultural training, mentorship, and market opportunities.
“Partnerships and support systems such as this strengthen our resolve to continue creating opportunities, building capacities, and transforming lives through agriculture. We sincerely thank Samuel Saupo for believing in our work and for standing with us as we continue to champion inclusive agricultural development in Ghana,” she added.
The Agrihouse Foundation continues to lead several impactful initiatives focused on women empowerment, youth participation in agriculture, agribusiness development, climate-smart agriculture, and community transformation across Ghana.
