A Youth in Input Dealership Training Session is also being held to equip young people with the skills to establish and manage agro-input businesses within their communities, with the goal of creating jobs, improving rural input access, and expanding the agro-dealer network.
She further noted that a panel discussion will focus on the government’s initiative to establish Input and Farmer Service Centres, and how this can enhance rural agricultural systems and improve service delivery to farmers.
In addition, a Crop Clinic is providing farmers with practical guidance from agricultural experts on the correct use of fertilisers, herbicides, and pesticides, alongside other best agronomic practices to improve yields and promote sustainable farming.
She encouraged farmers, agripreneurs, youth, and women to take full advantage of the exhibition, training sessions, and networking opportunities available.
